I was very surprised. It looks cosy, clean, and comfortable. Everything you need is available in your room. Small but very cosy.
Very clean bed spotless. Rooms very well maintained. For a single guy visiting Portsmouth on a budget this is a perfect base camp for your time. However for a family holiday its not ideal unless you use the room as a base camp. You go out alot and visit places rather than hang about at the room sort of people. Alot of protential in this place. And wifi included in the price. Knocked one star down as the bathroom fan wouldnt shut down. And the damn person in the room under me had an alarm going off from 5am until 8am everyday. And yes i banged on the wall and floor but it didnt get them to turn off the alarm. If you need to come to portsmouth and have to do it on a budget this is well worth your money and time.
It was worth the money. Room was nice, clean and well lit. Comfy sleep, was peaceful. Quick check in and check out. Staff were polite and kind.
This is a no frills budget stop over. Can't give it 5 stars as there is no food available on site. This shouldn't trouble you as there are plenty of quality offerings within walking distance. At the top of Albert Road which has a mass of eating and drinking establishments and is home to the famous Wedgwood Rooms. Osborne Road and Palmerston Road are similarly lively and a £5 taxi ride away, or walk. Our room was clean and comfortable with a great shower and the TV reception was spot on. Friendly reception, suggest you book direct.

Great budget hotel. Perfectly functional and in a great location. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Exactly what you need for a simple place to stay to see the wonderful city that is Portsmouth. Everything in walking distance and the parking on the doorstep is reasonably priced.
The room was nice for an overnight stay. We were given room 3, at first it seemed a little small but turned out to be fine size wise. The bed was two single beds put together so there was a gap in the middle but it wasn't that much of a problem. Parking can be found on nearby streets or on the dedicated front drive which costs £5 a night. The owner was very laid back and friendly, and staff seemed to be okay but I didn't see much of them.
